Bayern Target Dani Olmo as Chelsea and Man United Eye January Transfers

Bayern Munich are planning a January move for Barcelona attacking midfielder Dani Olmo. The German club is preparing backup options because other teams are showing strong interest in Jamal Musiala and Michael Olise. Bayern have liked Olmo for a long time, stretching back to when he played for RB Leipzig.

Olmo won the World Cup with Spain and has an estimated transfer value of 70 million euros. Barcelona might be willing to sell the 28 year old player. The Spanish club wants to raise money so they can try to sign Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid.

Manchester United search for defensive cover

Manchester United are looking at Club Brugge left back Joaquin Seys. United scouts recently watched the 21 year old player provide two assists during a 3-0 win against Genk. The club wants to find defensive cover for 31 year old Luke Shaw.

United missed out on their main summer defensive targets. Nathaniel Brown chose to join Bayern Munich instead, and Newcastle United defender Lewis Hall signed a new contract. Now, United are also finalizing a deal to sign 16 year old winger Isaac Konde from the Liverpool academy.

Chelsea and Liverpool chase midfield targets

Chelsea are leading the race to sign Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott if he becomes available in January. The 23 year old earned a spot in the England squad after some strong performances. Bournemouth will want a fee of at least 100 million pounds for him.

Chelsea also had a 55 million euro move for Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara fail on deadline day. Monaco chose to keep the 21 year old, but Chelsea could return with a better offer in January. Liverpool are also tracking the Senegal international.

At the same time, Liverpool are one of seven Premier League clubs keeping an eye on Lyon midfielder Tyler Morton. The 23 year old is an academy product who could return to Anfield, though clubs like Nottingham Forest and Newcastle are also interested.
