Fans who turn up early can check out the pregame festivities. The digital pre pre game show Countdown to College GameDay starts at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time every week. That leads directly into the main broadcast, which runs from 9 a.m. until noon.
Fans visiting the set can also try to win special perks. Options include chances to earn premium on camera seats as well as official event merchandise.
Steve Young joins as guest picker
Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young has been selected as the guest picker for this Week 7 show. Pat McAfee announced the news on October 15, 2026.
The event features special fan experiences tied to the sponsor campaign. To fit with The Home Depot and their Ready Get Set It is GameDay theme, organizers built a replica façade of the famous GameDay Bus.
Groups of four or five fans wearing branded hard hats can go inside the structure. Once inside, they can pretend to drive the bus and take photos to share with friends.
