Florida State RB Ousmane Kromah Carted Off With Ankle Injury
Florida State running back Ousmane Kromah left Saturday's game against Miami on a cart after suffering a left ankle injury in the second quarter.

Ankle Injury Stalls Promising Drive
Florida State suffered a major setback on offense during Saturday's game against No. 3 Miami in Miami Gardens, Florida. Starting running back Ousmane Kromah had to leave the contest during the second quarter after suffering an injury to his left ankle.
The injury occurred at the end of a big play deep in Miami territory. Kromah broke loose for a 9 yard run, pushing the ball down to the Miami 2 yard line. Chase Smith came in to make the tackle for the Hurricanes, and Kromah landed awkwardly on his left ankle as he hit the ground.
Medical Staff Brings Out the Cart
Kromah tried to get off the field under his own power by hopping on his right leg. His left ankle was bent at an angle as he moved, and he could not make it very far.
He eventually fell back to the turf. The Florida State medical staff rushed onto the field immediately to evaluate him.
Trainers quickly placed an air cast over his injured left leg. With Kromah unable to put any weight on the ankle, the medical crew brought out the cart and took him off the field.
Florida State Responds With a Touchdown
The Seminoles managed to finish the drive on the very next snap. Ashton Daniels took the ball into the end zone on a 2 yard touchdown run to capitalize on Kromah's final carry.
Right after crossing the goal line, Daniels held up his hands and formed the number 32 with his fingers to honor his injured teammate.
A Tough Loss for the Offense
Losing Kromah leaves a large void in the Florida State offense. Heading into Saturday's game, Kromah ranked No. 3 in the ACC with 565 rushing yards on the season.
He was also having a strong outing before getting hurt on Saturday. Kromah led all rushers in the game with 44 yards at the time he exited.
