Ignoring the Noise

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is keeping his focus on the field despite growing trade rumors. Speculation has increased ahead of the November 10 trade deadline. This comes after Harrison hired agents Todd France and Tory Dandy on September 23, having previously played without representation.

"Truthfully, I pay it no mind," Harrison said on Thursday. "I'm only focused on Detroit, helping the Cardinals win football games at the moment. So whatever rumors you're talking about, I don't pay it no mind."

Interest From the Colts

While the Cardinals are not actively shopping Harrison, other teams are keeping tabs on him. The Indianapolis Colts are among those interested and would entertain a trade. Harrison has a deep family connection to Indianapolis, where his father, Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison Sr., holds multiple receiving records.

The Colts are searching for an offensive spark. They placed top receiver Alec Pierce on injured reserve last month with a heel injury. While they hope Pierce can return later this season, Indianapolis has struggled to make explosive plays. To help fill the gap, the Colts recently signed former New York Giants receiver Darius Slayton.

On-Field Performance and Coach Support

Harrison has recorded five receptions for 85 yards and one touchdown through four games this season. His 12 targets rank fifth on the Cardinals, behind Trey McBride, Michael Wilson, Kendrick Bourne, and Jeremiyah Love.

His lone touchdown came during a 36-24 loss to the Giants at MetLife Stadium. After scoring, Harrison celebrated by putting his finger to his facemask in a shush motion. When asked about the gesture, he said there was "No message."

Despite a quiet start, Cardinals coach Mike LaFleur remains fully behind his receiver. Following Sunday's game, LaFleur said, "Yeah, my confidence is high in Marv."
