Seattle Seahawks Lose Rookie Running Back Jadarian Price to Injured Reserve
The Seattle Seahawks have placed starting running back Jadarian Price on injured reserve due to a chest injury, ruling him out for at least four games.

Price Headed to Injured Reserve
The Seattle Seahawks received tough news on Saturday. Starting running back Jadarian Price is heading to injured reserve with a chest injury. This move means the rookie first round draft pick will miss at least the next four games.
Price sustained the chest injury during Week 2. He reaggravated it during practice on Wednesday. Head coach Mike Macdonald made it clear that the rookie is not to blame. Macdonald said on Friday, "By no means is this JD's fault or anything like that. This is just what happens in football."
Before the injury, Price started all three games for Seattle. He rushed for 119 yards on 28 carries and added 21 receiving yards. He also had some ball security issues, briefly sitting on the bench against Washington after his second fumble in two weeks.
Next Men Up in the Backfield
With Price sidelined, Emanuel Wilson and George Holani are the top running backs available for Seattle. Wilson has gained 109 scrimmage yards on 32 touches so far. Holani has recorded 102 yards on 21 touches.
The team also signed Velus Jones Jr. from the practice squad on Saturday to serve as the third running back. Meanwhile, runner Zach Charbonnet is getting closer to making his return. He was designated to return to practice on Thursday after recovering from February surgery on a torn ACL. Charbonnet must miss at least one more game but participated in practice on a limited basis this week.
To help fill out the roster for the upcoming matchup, the Seahawks also brought up cornerback Trevon Diggs and safety Maxen Hook from the practice squad.
