Steve Lacy Surprises New Jersey Crowd

Musician Steve Lacy gave concert fans a memorable moment during his show on Thursday night. Performing live at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey, the artist treated the audience to a unique spin on his hit track Oh Yeah.

During the performance, Lacy changed up the standard lyrics. He dropped a version of the song where the main chorus was completely replaced by chanting LeBron, LeBron, LeBron. The crowd recognized the joke right away and happily sang along with him inside the venue.

How the LeBron Song Went Viral Online

The custom lyrics actually originated on social media earlier this year. A TikTok artist who goes by the name dentzilla posted his own rendition of the song online back in September.

That online version exploded in popularity. Dentzilla's post has gathered 4.7 million views on TikTok along with over 666,000 likes on Instagram. Lacy, who resides in Los Angeles, is currently traveling across both the United States and Canada on tour. He is out on the road promoting his latest album, which shares the title Oh Yeah.
