Tyler Huntley Delivers in Overtime Win Over Falcons
Tyler Huntley stepped in for Lamar Jackson and led Baltimore to a 30-23 overtime win in Atlanta.

Stepping up in Atlanta
Tyler Huntley showed once again why Baltimore trusts him when Lamar Jackson cannot play. With Jackson sidelined by a sprained left ankle, Huntley led the Ravens to a 30-23 overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons. Baltimore entered the game as underdogs for the first time this season, but Huntley delivered late.
After a slow first half where he completed 11 of 18 passes for 97 yards, Huntley settled in. He hit 13 of his final 14 throws for 104 yards and two touchdowns. Baltimore wiped out an eight point deficit in the fourth quarter, which was their largest comeback without Jackson in 11 years.
Perfect finish on the final drives
Huntley was flawless when the pressure peaked. He went 11 for 11 for 80 yards over Baltimore's last two possessions. With 40 seconds left in regulation, he hit Devontez Walker for a 7 yard touchdown pass, and Derrick Henry punched in the 2 point conversion to tie the game.
In overtime, Huntley converted two third downs with throws to Mark Andrews and Zay Flowers. He finished the 14 play drive himself with a 1 yard sneak for the winning touchdown. It was the longest overtime touchdown drive in the NFL in eight years. The victory pushed Baltimore to 4-1, giving them a one game lead in the AFC North.
Trust from the sideline
Ravens coach Jesse Minter praised his quarterback afterward. Minter said Huntley keeps his composure and does not get rattled. Jackson watched from the sideline, clapping and yelling encouragement throughout the game.
The Ravens improved to 7-11 when Jackson misses a start, and Huntley has been the starter for six of those seven victories. The team has not set a timetable for Jackson's return, but his teammates know Huntley can lead them if needed at Cleveland. Cornerback Marlon Humphrey said the entire team believed in him.
