Former Oklahoma State Coach Mike Gundy Heads to the TV Studio
Mike Gundy is set to appear as a guest analyst on national television this Saturday, just weeks after being let go by Oklahoma State.

Gundy's New TV Gig
Former Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy is returning to college football this Saturday. He will serve as a guest studio analyst for a major television network during its coverage of Arizona's game at West Virginia.
Gundy will travel to the network's studios in Atlanta to join the broadcast panel. Fans can expect to see him sharing his coaching insights and analysis during the pregame, halftime, and postgame shows.
A Legendary Run Cut Short
This television appearance comes shortly after Gundy's long tenure at Oklahoma State came to an end. The school fired him on September 23, 2025, just three games into his 21st season leading the program.
Before his firing, Gundy was a fixture at the school. He spent a total of 34 years there. He first arrived as a player, playing quarterback for the team, before transitioning to an assistant coach role and eventually becoming the head coach. Gundy built an impressive resume over those decades. He finished his head coaching career with a 170-90 record, which included putting together winning seasons every single year from 2006 all the way through 2023.
Back in Front of the Camera
This is not Gundy's first time analyzing games on television. In January, during the national championship game, Gundy was part of an alternate coaches film room broadcast.
While Gundy is in the studio talking about Arizona and West Virginia, his former team will be on the field. The 18th ranked Oklahoma State squad is scheduled to play a home game against UCF at the exact same time. That game will also be shown on national television, giving fans plenty of college football action to watch.
