Harry Kane Commits to Bayern Munich With New Contract Until 2029
Harry Kane has signed a contract extension to stay with Bayern Munich until 2029 after winning multiple trophies in Germany.

Long Term Stay in Germany
Harry Kane has officially signed a new contract with Bayern Munich that keeps him at the club until 2029. The England striker moved to Germany from Tottenham Hotspur three years ago and has enjoyed huge success since his arrival.
Kane won the Bundesliga title in 2025 and 2026, ending his personal wait for major trophy success. He also lifted the DFB-Pokal last season. Kane said he feels right at home at the club and added that his whole family is very happy in Munich. He stated that he wants to win many more titles with the team.
Breaking Records and Winning Awards
Kane has produced remarkable numbers during his time in the German top flight. He became the fastest player to reach 100 goals in the Bundesliga, reaching the mark in just 98 appearances.
The striker also won the Ballon d'Or in 2026, narrowly beating Mbappé by one of the smallest margins in the history of the award. On the international stage, Kane reached 125 caps for England after a match against Czechia, matching a record held by Peter Shilton since 1990. Kane remains his country's top goalscorer with 91 goals.
Club Leaders Praise the Striker
Bayern Munich executives expressed great satisfaction with the deal. Club president Herbert Hainer called it a special moment and praised Kane as one of the greatest figures in modern football. CEO Jan Christian Dreesen noted that Kane has achieved extraordinary things both on and off the pitch under manager Vincent Kompany.
Board member Max Eberl explained that securing Kane gives the club certainty for future squad planning. Sporting director Christoph Freund added that the team benefits daily from Kane's leadership and overall qualities as the best striker in the world.
