MLS chief hopes Harry Kane makes US move
MLS commissioner Don Garber hopes England star Harry Kane will play in the United States after expressing interest in a future move.

A dream transfer for the MLS
Major League Soccer commissioner Don Garber has his sights set on another massive signing. He wants England captain Harry Kane to move to the United States. Kane recently revealed his interest in playing in the MLS one day, and he has also spoken about his dream of becoming an NFL kicker.
Garber is thrilled by the prospect. He said that having players like Kane want to play in the league is the fulfilment of a dream. The MLS wanted to create a competitive league that would make global stars actively choose to play in America. Lionel Messi did exactly that when he joined Inter Miami, and Garber hopes Kane will follow.
Kane's incredible form
At 33, Kane is not showing any signs of slowing down. He is currently in the running for the Ballon d'Or. He scored 73 goals for club and country in a season that saw him win the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich and take home a World Cup bronze medal.
Kane recently earned his 125th cap for England. He scored in a 3-0 Nations League win against Czechia, which brought his international goal tally to 91. He managed six goals during his last four match international camp.
Building a global league
Garber is preparing to step down as commissioner at the turn of the year, a role he has held since 1999. Garber, who is 68 years old, will then become the chairman. He believes the league has grown from a country road to a highway.
He credits David Beckham for starting this growth when he joined LA Galaxy. Garber said Beckham put the league on the path to credibility. Later, Messi's arrival at Inter Miami turned the league into a global phenomenon. Now, Garber wants MLS clubs to compete against the best teams in the world and win.
