He hit his 318th career home run to pass franchise legend George Brett. Perez has since pushed his total to 322 home runs.

While Perez has made history for the Royals, nobody has hit more home runs for a single team than Hank Aaron. Aaron hit 733 home runs during his legendary career with the Braves, which is the most for any single franchise in baseball history.
Other historic names still dominate their respective franchise lists. Babe Ruth sits near the top of the list with 659 home runs for the New York Yankees. Willie Mays holds the record for the San Francisco Giants with 646 home runs. In Boston, Ted Williams remains the leader with 521 home runs for the Red Sox.
