Vanderbilt QB Jared Curtis Faces Late Fitness Test For Georgia Clash
Vanderbilt quarterback Jared Curtis and Georgia running back Nate Frazier are both game-time decisions for Saturday's matchup.

Curtis Battles Injury Ahead of Georgia Matchup
Vanderbilt true freshman quarterback Jared Curtis will attempt to play against No. 2 Georgia on Saturday. Curtis, who was once committed to Georgia, has been dealing with an undisclosed injury suffered in a recent loss to Auburn.
He was limited in practice all week but managed to complete Friday's walkthrough. The Vanderbilt coaching staff plans to make a final decision on his status after watching him in pregame warmups.
Curtis has thrown for 746 yards and four touchdowns this season, completing 64.3 percent of his passes. He has also rushed for 133 yards and two scores. In the game against Auburn, he completed 22 of 33 passes for 199 yards and led his team in rushing with 48 yards on 18 carries. His only turnover in that game was an interception on a Hail Mary pass at the end of the first half.
Bulldogs Await News on Frazier
Georgia is also waiting on the fitness of a key player. Star running back Nate Frazier is a game-time decision for Saturday's game. Frazier missed last week's win over Oklahoma because of a rib injury. Like Curtis, he will be evaluated after pregame warmups.
Frazier is Georgia's leading rusher this season with 202 yards and five touchdowns. If he is unable to play, Chauncey Bowens is expected to lead the backfield. Bowens has rushed for 93 yards and five touchdowns over the first four games of the season.
