Premier League Giants Eye Brentford Winger
Arsenal and Liverpool are stepping up their interest in Brentford winger Kevin Schade. The 24 year old Germany international has caught the attention of both clubs as the summer transfer window closed. Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are also keeping tabs on him.
Schade has entered the final two years of his contract. Brentford has already held initial talks about offering him improved terms to convince him to stay.
The Battle for Inter Milan's Bastoni
Alessandro Bastoni is back on the radar for several top clubs. Barcelona has renewed its interest in the 27 year old Inter Milan center back. Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City are also keeping an eye on the Italy international.
Inter Milan held firm on a valuation of nearly £70 million during the summer. Chelsea appreciates his ability to play in a back three. Meanwhile, Liverpool and Manchester City view him as a long term option as they prepare to eventually lose Virgil van Dijk and Rúben Dias.
Liverpool's Defensive Plans and Other Targets
Liverpool is currently very pleased with defender Ronald Araújo. The 27 year old Uruguay international is on loan from Barcelona. He has made seven appearances, including five starts, and has impressed the club and Andoni Iraola. The defender has shown great versatility by playing at both right back and center back. Liverpool has an option to sign him permanently for €55 million.
Elsewhere, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City are monitoring Atlético Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente. The 31 year old will see his contract expire in the summer. Madrid is confident they can agree on a new deal, but Premier League clubs are watching closely.

Real Madrid is scouting Stuttgart center back Finn Jeltsch. The 20 year old recently received his first Germany call up from Jürgen Klopp. Jeltsch joined Stuttgart from Nurnberg in January 2025.
In other news, Manchester United is linked with Barcelona left back Alejandro Balde for a potential January move. Intermediaries have also contacted several English clubs, including Arsenal and Manchester United, about the availability of Barcelona attacking midfielder Dani Olmo.
