Skattebo Doubtful for Sunday

New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo is unlikely to play on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Skattebo is listed as doubtful after injuring his hamstring in overtime against the Houston Texans on Oct. 25. He did not practice this week despite having a bye week to recover.

Coach John Harbaugh said on Friday, "Yeah, let's keep it open. Let's keep it open, let's see what happens." Skattebo leads New York with 418 rushing yards on 98 carries. No other player on the team has reached 100 rushing yards this season.

Nabers Set for Full Participation

Wide receiver Malik Nabers is expected to play without limitations. Nabers missed practice on Thursday because of his right knee, but he practiced fully on Friday and carries no injury designation.

Harbaugh said, "He practiced fully. He was full participation. It's not an issue. He'll be full go for the game." Nabers has played all seven games for New York after suffering a serious knee injury last season. He leads the team with 48 catches for 605 yards and is seeking his fifth consecutive game with at least 100 receiving yards.

Backfield Adjustments for New York

The 4-2-1 Giants are seeking their first victory at Lincoln Financial Field since 2013. Skattebo suffered a fractured ankle in Philadelphia last season, and his absence leaves New York thin at running back.

Devin Singletary is expected to be the primary back on Sunday. Singletary rushed for the game winning 30 yard touchdown in Houston after being inactive for several games earlier this season.

Greg Desrosiers and Phil Mafah are the other options. Desrosiers was signed off the Los Angeles Chargers practice squad last week after Tyrone Tracy Jr. went on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. Desrosiers is set for his first career game. Mafah has appeared in one game and has five career carries, which came for the Dallas Cowboys against the Giants in Week 18 last season.
