Jaguars Left Tackle Anton Harrison Out For Season With Torn ACL
Jacksonville left tackle Anton Harrison will miss the rest of the season after surgery revealed a torn ACL in his right knee.

Surgery confirms full extent of injury
The Jacksonville Jaguars received bad news about their starting offensive line. Left tackle Anton Harrison will miss the remainder of the season due to a torn ACL in his right knee.
Harrison underwent arthroscopic surgery on Thursday. It was during this procedure that doctors discovered the true extent of the damage to his right knee. The Jaguars had already placed the young blocker on injured reserve on Oct. 13.
Sequence of the Week 5 injury
The play that ended Harrison's season happened during Jacksonville's Week 5 victory over Philadelphia. The 24 year old was blocking on a sweep play to the right for running back Bhayshul Tuten.
As Harrison disengaged from his block, he immediately grabbed his right knee and went down to the ground. Medical personnel ended up taking him off the field on a cart.
Harrison entered the league as the 27th overall pick in the 2023 draft. He originally played right tackle before the coaching staff moved him to left tackle during training camp. The team demonstrated confidence in his future by picking up his fifth year option in April.
Measuring Harrison's production
Prior to his injury, Harrison was a regular contributor upfront. He ranked 39th among all offensive tackles across the league with an 83.7 percent pass block win rate.
That metric put him just behind his teammate on the opposite side of the line. Jaguars right tackle Cole Van Lanen ranked four spots higher with an 84.4 percent pass block win rate.
