Halloween Brings Out Creative Outfits

It is the spookiest time of the year, and athletes from across the sports world are taking full advantage of the holiday. There has been no shortage of creative outfits as stars celebrate the spooky season.

Athletes across multiple leagues showed off their special looks. From professional basketball to hockey, football, and soccer, sports stars went all out to dress up for their celebrations.

Warriors Forward Channels Classic Horror Movie

Basketball fans saw one of the standout looks of the entire holiday from the NBA. Golden State Warriors forward Yaxel Lendeborg had what was arguably the best dressed outfit of the season.

Lendeborg decided to go with a classic horror theme. He looked menacing while dressed up as Michael Myers, the iconic character from the Halloween movie franchise. His outfit caught plenty of attention for its terrifying detail.

Hockey Teams Host Big Spooky Celebrations

Hockey players also had plenty of fun with the holiday. Teams across the NHL held their respective Halloween parties, and the players certainly did not disappoint with their creative ideas. Some fans even joked about the league becoming the National Halloween League for the occasion.

Boston Bruins winger JJ Peterka opted for a funny look. He dressed up as the character King Julien from the animated Madagascar series.

St. Louis Blues winger Jake Neighbours decided to stay consistent. He continued his ongoing tradition by dressing up as a hot dog for his team celebration.

Reality Show Themes and Other League Stars

Group costumes were another big hit among players. New York Rangers teammates Adam Fox and Alexis Lafrenière chose a shared theme. They dressed up alongside their respective partners with looks inspired by the reality show Jersey Shore.

Other major figures from around sports also got involved in the holiday spirit. Outfits were seen from soccer star Trinity Rodman, members of the Detroit Lions, players from the San Jose Sharks, and players from Mexican club C.D. Guadalajara.
