Arsenal Winger Madueke Linked With January Exit as Rivals Watch

Noni Madueke could be on his way out of Arsenal when the January transfer window opens. Several unnamed Premier League clubs are keeping a close eye on the 24 year old winger. He is currently struggling to get regular playing time in the early weeks of this season.

Madueke arrived at Arsenal last summer from Chelsea. Since his move, he has scored nine goals and provided four assists in 48 appearances. However, competition on the right wing is heating up. The rise of youngster Max Dowman has made it even harder for Madueke to secure a regular spot in the starting lineup. If the club is open to a deal, a winter departure looks highly possible.

Arsenal and rivals hunt for young talent

Arsenal are also looking to bring in new talent. They are tracking Sturm Graz teenager Luca Weinhandl. The 17 year old made his breakthrough last season with 10 appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga. He has already played five times this season, including a start in the Europa League. Aston Villa and Brighton are also interested in the youngster. A package worth 20 million pounds could be enough to land him.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are keeping tabs on AZ Alkmaar midfielder Kees Smit. The 20 year old has been a regular in the Netherlands over the last two seasons. Liverpool have been long term admirers of Smit, who made his senior international debut in March. Liverpool are also looking at Crystal Palace left back Tyrick Mitchell as an option to strengthen their defence.

Tottenham are also active in the market. They are in the race to sign defender Arthur Dias from Athletico Paranaense. The 19 year old is valued at 30 million euros by his club, with teams from Germany, Italy, Spain, and Portugal also tracking him.
