LeBron James Drinks Fan Wine During Philadelphia Victory
LeBron James grabbed a sip of wine from a courtside fan during Philadelphia's 126-107 win over Chicago.

LeBron's Sideline Wine Sip
LeBron James had an unusual moment on the court during Monday night. In the third quarter of a game against the Chicago Bulls, James chased a loose ball out of bounds while Philadelphia held an 11 point lead. He crashed into fan Troy Clemons, who was holding a cup of red wine. James decided to take a quick sip right there on the sideline.
"I wanted to see if it was worth it on my arm, how good it was. It was all right," James said with a smile after the game. Clemons, a longtime season ticket holder who grew up with the sons of Julius Erving, was not upset about the spilled drink. He said he was just glad James was there and was not worried about getting wine on himself.
Big Night for Philadelphia
James has mentioned in the past that drinking a daily glass of wine helps his longevity. The moment did not slow him down. He finished the game with 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 9 assists to help Philadelphia secure a 126-107 victory over Chicago.
The win pushed Philadelphia to a 7-1 record on the season. James was seen having plenty of fun during the win. He danced after converting an and one layup, which had guard Tyrese Maxey laughing hysterically. Shortly after, James danced again with Maxey when the point guard scored an and one of his own.
Having Fun on the Court
After the game, James talked about keeping things light during a long season. He explained that if players do not find ways to enjoy themselves while working, the long schedule can wear on them. He added that he wants to appreciate the small moments, be a showman, and play hard for the fans.
This was not the first time James interacted with fan drinks. Back in Game 1 of the 2017 Eastern Conference semifinals, he playfully grabbed a beer bottle from a vendor after a missed layup, pretended to sip it, and handed it back. Philadelphia now turns its focus to Wednesday when they face the Detroit Pistons, the team responsible for their only loss this season.
