Bradley Barcola ignores price tag and Mohamed Salah comparisons at Liverpool
Bradley Barcola says he feels no pressure over his big transfer fee or following Mohamed Salah at Liverpool.

Barcola ready to make his own mark at Liverpool
Liverpool forward Bradley Barcola is not feeling the weight of his transfer fee or the legacy left behind by Mohamed Salah. The 24 year old France winger joined Liverpool in August from Paris Saint Germain in a deal that could reach £123 million.
Salah moved to Trabzonspor after establishing himself as a club legend. Barcola made it clear that he respects Salah, but he is focused on his own path.
Barcola stated that he did not decide the transfer fee, so it is not his problem. He added that Salah is a legend who accomplished big things, but it brings no pressure. Barcola explained that he is not Mohamed Salah and aims to contribute what he can while making his own mark on club history.
Leaving Paris for the Premier League
Barcola spent three years at Paris Saint Germain after coming through the youth ranks at Lyon. He won numerous trophies in France, but he always wanted to play in English football.
He noted that playing in the Premier League was an ambition from a young age. He felt it was the right time to leave PSG and had no doubts when Liverpool approached him.
Leaving Paris was still emotional for the winger. He mentioned that the group at PSG felt like a real family where they built something special, but added that football simply works that way.
Best version of Barcola still to come
Barcola has experienced a mixed start to his time on Merseyside. He scored a hat trick against LASK in the Champions League, though he has not yet scored in the Premier League. He has provided two assists in league play so far.
The winger believes his performances will improve as he gets more comfortable with his new teammates. He said fans have not seen the best version of him yet. He explained that he is working with his teammates so they can maximize his strengths.
Liverpool enter their next stretch of games following a 1-0 loss against Arsenal in the Premier League.
