Grizzlies Stun Warriors With Late 17-0 Run in San Francisco
The Golden State Warriors collapsed in the final four minutes, allowing a 17-0 run as the Memphis Grizzlies snatched a 111-108 road victory.

Four Minutes of Chaos
The Golden State Warriors held a 12 point lead with under four minutes remaining on Friday night. De'Anthony Melton hit a corner 3 with 3:47 left, giving the home team full control after a tough opening loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Then everything fell apart. Memphis put together a stunning 17-0 run to steal a 111-108 victory in San Francisco. Golden State missed nine consecutive possessions while the Grizzlies made play after play. Head coach Steve Kerr called the late collapse an avalanche after the game.
Boozer Leads the Comeback
Rookie Cameron Boozer led the charge for the young Grizzlies squad. Boozer finished the night with 25 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists. He drew fouls, hit free throws, and capped the rally with a floater from nine feet out over Brandin Podziemski in the final seconds to give Memphis a 108-106 lead.
Stephen Curry started the trouble by fouling Jaylen Wells on a corner 3, giving Memphis a four point play. Curry, Draymond Green, Yaxel Lendeborg, and Podziemski then missed four straight shots. Ty Jerome drilled a 3 after a loose ball scramble, and Wells tied the game at the free throw line before Boozer hit his game winner.
Frustration and Roster Woes
Frustration boiled over on the Warriors bench late in the game. Draymond Green was called for an illegal screen, which led to a technical foul on Kerr for arguing with officials. Kerr noted after the game that his team was called for six illegal screens on the night.
The loss hurts even more given Golden State's current roster issues. Starting wings Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody are out with injuries. To make matters worse, Curry said he probably will not play Saturday in Phoenix due to rest, while Podziemski will sit out with back soreness.
