Rams Pass Rusher Myles Garrett Set to Return to Practice
Myles Garrett is back at practice for the Rams this week, while several other key players make progress on the injury report.

Garrett returns to practice
Los Angeles Rams star pass rusher Myles Garrett will get back on the practice field this week. Head coach Sean McVay shared the update on Monday. The 30 year old defender has been on injured reserve following arthroscopic knee surgery in mid September.
Garrett played in the Rams' season opener, but stated after the game that he was not playing at 100 percent health. He missed most of training camp with what McVay called knee irritation.
McVay wants to be careful about setting expectations for Garrett's game action. "I want to be careful to even set any sort of expectations," McVay said. "I think just taking it a day at a time is going to be the best way that we can approach it. Think that's the right thing for him, and really just to see how he responds. But I think it's a real positive that we're starting his clock."
More injury updates for the Rams
Tight end Terrance Ferguson could also return to practice this week. Ferguson missed the Rams' past five games on injured reserve after spraining his ankle in Week 3 against the Denver Broncos. McVay said it is looking more likely than not that the Rams open Ferguson's practice window.
On defense, the Rams are taking it day by day with cornerbacks Jaylen Watson and Trent McDuffie. Both players left the Rams' Week 8 victory with injuries. Watson aggravated a previous shoulder injury, but McVay noted he came in with good strength and optimism. McDuffie left after taking a knee to his back and came in feeling better than expected. The team will assess their availability for Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders as the week progresses.
