Saints Boost Offense With Jordyn Tyson and Kelvin Banks Returning
Rookies Jordyn Tyson and Kelvin Banks Jr. will be active for the Saints against the Browns on Sunday.

Tyson and Banks Ready for Action
New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver Jordyn Tyson and left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. will be active for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Both players had been listed as questionable on the injury report. Banks returned to practice recently following surgery on his ankle.
Tyson was selected eighth overall in the 2026 NFL draft and will make his professional debut. He hurt his right hamstring on Aug. 13 in a joint practice with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The injury happened when he landed awkwardly while catching a pass, and initial estimates expected him to miss at least two months.
Tyson said the extended time to get right was "a blessing." He said, "Kind of got a slow start to the NFL, so I got to kind of take my time and kind of really adjust to it." He missed three games at Arizona State last year due to a hamstring issue, though both Tyson and the team said this new injury was unrelated. His college career also included a torn ACL, MCL, and PCL in 2022 at Colorado, a fractured collarbone in 2024, and a sprained ankle in 2025.
Roster Adjustments in New Orleans
The Saints made a roster move to clear space for Tyson by releasing running back Kendre Miller. Miller was selected in the third round of the 2023 draft out of TCU. He led the team's struggling run game with 159 rushing yards this season.
The release follows the team claiming running back Audric Estime off waivers from Cleveland. Estime was with New Orleans last year and during training camp before being waived with an injury settlement. The team is trying to fix a ground attack that managed only 18 rushing yards in its previous game prior to the bye week.
