Arsenal Keep Tabs on Rodrygo While Martial Nears Spain Move
Arsenal remain in contact with Real Madrid winger Rodrygo, while Liverpool target Paul Wanner and Anthony Martial nears a move to Spain.

Arsenal hunt for wingers
Arsenal are still looking to strengthen their options on the wing. They have kept in contact with the camp of Real Madrid winger Rodrygo. The 25 year old Brazil international is currently recovering from a serious knee injury. He is targeting a return to action around December.
The Gunners want to add more depth out wide. This follows the summer departures of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard.
Arsenal also want to keep hold of their current talent. The club has no intention of allowing midfielder Martin Zubimendi to leave in the January transfer window. This is despite interest from Chelsea and Real Madrid.
Liverpool eye midfield reinforcements
Liverpool have identified some new transfer targets. PSV Eindhoven midfielder Paul Wanner has emerged as a target for the club. The 20 year old former Bayern Munich player has made 40 appearances since moving to the Netherlands last summer. Bayern Munich are not planning to bring him back at the moment.
Liverpool are also monitoring Fiorentina midfielder Cher Ndour. The 22 year old has made 62 appearances since joining the Italian side from PSG in February. They face competition for his signature. Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Brighton, Crystal Palace, and Hull City are also tracking him.
Martial and Richarlison updates
Former Manchester United forward Anthony Martial is closing in on a move to Spanish side Málaga. The free agent turned down a two year, 10 million euro offer from Al Ittihad Tripoli of Libya to negotiate with the Spanish club.
Meanwhile, Everton are unlikely to try signing Tottenham forward Richarlison again. A proposed summer move for the 29 year old collapsed. Richarlison is contracted to Spurs until next summer but was left out of their Premier League squad. Moves to Trabzonspor and Vasco da Gama also fell through.
