Chelsea and Liverpool battle for Kone

Chelsea are planning to make another move for Roma midfielder Manu Kone when the transfer window opens in January. The London club had a 60 million euro offer rejected at the end of August. Kone, who starred for France at the summer World Cup, is under contract with the Italian side until June 2029.

However, Chelsea could face competition from Liverpool, who are also looking to improve their midfield options. Liverpool have other targets on their radar too.
