Kwity Paye shines in Raiders debut
Kwity Paye made an instant impact for the Las Vegas Raiders in his first regular season game since joining from the Indianapolis Colts. The Guinea born Liberian defensive end helped lead a dominant defensive performance as the Raiders secured a 27-13 victory over the Miami Dolphins.
Paye was involved in three of the five sacks on Malik Willis. He finished the game with one full sack and two split sacks, giving him a personal tally of two sacks. He also recorded four quarterback hits and six total tackles.
His first play set the tone. Paye combined with Taron Johnson to stop De'Von Achane for a two yard loss on the opening drive. He later shared a sack with Folorunso Fatukasi, and another with Maxx Crosby in the fourth quarter. Paye ended his night with a solo sack on Willis with just three minutes left on the clock.
