Dillon Brooks Ejected in Phoenix Loss Against Denver
Dillon Brooks was tossed after a Flagrant 2 foul on Jamal Murray, leading to a 127-120 Suns loss against Denver.

Early Exit for Brooks
Dillon Brooks had his night cut short on Friday during the Phoenix Suns 127-120 loss to the Denver Nuggets. The forward was ejected in the third quarter following a foul on Denver guard Jamal Murray.
Before leaving the floor, Brooks was putting on a strong scoring display for Phoenix. He was leading the team with 22 points while shooting an efficient 9 of 12 from the field.
Breakdown of the Foul
The incident occurred during a third quarter possession. Brooks attempted a turnaround jumper while Murray was closely guarding him. As Brooks fell backward on the shot, his right leg kicked forward and hit Murray in the groin.
Referees initially called an offensive foul on Brooks. Murray was writhing in pain on the court for a few moments following the hit. However, Murray was able to get up and stayed in the game for Denver.
Officials then decided to review the play on video. After checking the replay, they upgraded the offensive foul to a Flagrant 2. A Flagrant 2 infraction carries an automatic ejection under league rules, forcing Brooks to head straight to the locker room.
Tough Loss for Phoenix
Losing their top scorer midway through the second half proved costly for the Suns. Phoenix could not close the gap against Denver, ultimately dropping the contest by seven points in a 127-120 final.
