Benjamin Sesko Ready to Spark Man United After Shin Injury Recovery
Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko says he is in the perfect place after recovering from a 16 week shin injury.

Sesko Back to Full Fitness
Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko is finally feeling at home and fully fit. The 23 year old Slovenia international saw his debut season cut short by a shin injury. After a patient recovery process, he says he is now in the perfect place.
Sesko suffered the injury during a 3-2 win against Liverpool in May, a match where he also scored. The injury forced him to miss United's summer friendly matches and kept him out of action for 16 weeks.
"We just need a little bit longer, longer than usual, because if you start too early, it might appear again," Sesko said. He added that waiting was a great decision because the shin is now fully healed.
Settling Into Life at Old Trafford
The striker moved to Manchester United last August from RB Leipzig in a deal worth 76.5 million euros, with another 8.5 million euros in potential add-ons. He scored 12 goals in his first season.
United had tracked the forward for a long time. They wanted him when he was at Leipzig, RB Salzburg, and even as a 16 year old at Slovenian club Domzale. Sesko believes taking his time to move to England was the right choice, saying a direct jump from Austria or Slovenia would have been too big.
After a year in England, he feels much more comfortable. "Now for me it's like I'm really enjoying it. I'm really happy here," Sesko said.
Striking at the Right Time
Sesko has already made his mark this season. He appeared as a substitute in United's first three Premier League matches. On Thursday, he started and scored in a 4-0 Champions League victory against Sabah.
He feels he has found the right balance between muscle and movement. With the Manchester derby coming up, his return to form gives United a major boost in attack.
